InfraScan Thermal Imaging Engineers compare the specific (hot) points on your thermal imaging report to the temperature rise limits tabled below. The closer the temperature is to the limit the more severe the fault.
InfraScan has never had a major fault related event in our 15 year history.

Cable
The operating temperature of unmarked PVC-insulated or elastomer-insulated cables is 75C.
Other cables to a maximum of 105C. (Polythene, PVC, solid extruded PVC tubing, 1.0 mm thick, high temperature heat shrink tubing with a minimum wall thickness of 0.45 mm after shrinkage, etc). This temperature must not be exceeded at any point where the insulation is relied upon. Parts of Assemblies
